BAPIO launched its Northern Ireland division on 6th July 2014 in Belfast. The launch was a big success and was well attended. The occasion was graced by Dr Michael McBride, Chief Medical Officer NI, Lord Daljeet Rana, BAPIO President Dr Ramesh Mehta and Dr Mukesh Chugh.
The Northern Ireland division is led by Dr. Mukesh Chugh, consultant Anaesthetist. ‘There is a strong and enthusiastic organising committee with us, who have been able to give their wholehearted efforts for supporting BAPIO and organising events time to time’ he quotes.
The aim is to realise the potential of our members in achieving professional excellence. We share common Aims and Objectives as of our parent BAPIO which is to constantly work towards developing and improving their career prospects.
The objective is to monitor and address the difficulties faced by the Doctors of Indian origin and to support them socially and professionally.
