BAPIO writes to the Health Secretary and the CEO of NHS England regarding calls to prioritise UK graduates for training posts
Following recent calls for UK-trained graduates to be given priority for training posts in the NHS, BAPIO has written to the Health Secretary and the CEO of NHS England to share its views. Given the complexity and multi-faceted nature of the issue, BAPIO has urged the UK Government and NHS England to take a holistic view of the matter, taking into account the implications of any decision on all stakeholders, including UK as well as international medical graduates.
