BAPIO gets speedy reply from HEE and NHSE regarding Covid-19 Vaccinations for migrant healthcare workers
In the initial first roll out of vaccines , when there was confusion that the vaccination would be limited to doctors with valid NHS numbers BAPIO wrote to Dr. Navina Evans Chief Executive HEE to request vaccination for frontline IMG doctors who may not have a valid NHS number. BAPIO were able to get assurance that the employing trusts would ensure that all the front line doctors would be vaccinated irrespective whether they were registered with GP or not.
