Varnapatala ( Spectrum) Kannada Movie

One of our BAPIO members, Dr Saraswati Hosdurga, consultant community paediatrician has co-produced a feature film in Kannada with English subtitles. She created a story along with two other friends using her professional experience of working with families and children with autism.

Life of an autistic child is like a simple white colour. To liberate all colours like Varnapatala( spectrum) a child has to pass through a prism made of supportive family, society and education system. This is beautifully captured with well balanced information and entertainment . Film also portraits about women empowerment and motivation to identify the strengths of her daughter and how such children are vulnerable to child abuse ( incest).
