Cognitive Simulation - a day course

 

BAPIO Education and Training section has launched an interactive day course on ‘Cognitive Simulation’. The course introduce a novel concept in techniques to optimise surgical performance.
Aim:
To reveal the cognitive factors underlying a surgical performance

Objective:
To impart evidence -based information regarding cognitive interventions

Format:
• A combination of didactic and interactive.
• Involves cognitive exercises

Contents
• The missing link: Cognitive skills and surgical performance
• The art and science of cognitive interventions
• Techniques of cognitive simulation
• Practical applications to improve surgical skills
